Heidi came up with this apron design in order to more efficiently work from home – from computer work to sewing to food-prep and cooking, Heidi needed something light and comfortable with pockets to wear.
This apron is handmade and hand-dyed by Heidi in her signature moon dye resist pattern with low-impact dyes. It gets softer the more you wash it, but it won't wear out. It also has pockets for all your things (including a place for your pen). Can be easily folded down to make a half apron. 100% Hemp. One size.

All items are designed and constructed with sustainability and ethics in mind: textiles are obtained through an American company that ensures that all of their products are certified with the social, ethical and environmental standards of the Global Organic Textile Standards. All dyes used are either plant-based or non-toxic, low impact, fiber-reactive dyes that require less water and lower water temperatures. Textile paints used are non-toxic, of professional grade, and are heat set for permanence. All pillow inserts are constructed and sourced regionally. These self-enforced standards, along with the goal of preserving historic traditions combined with modern expression is what makes KAMPPINEN’s artisan textiles unique.
Care:
Linens are shipped folded and flat. Iron out wrinkles before using, if desired.
Machine wash cold with like colors. Tumble dry low. Iron on cotton setting.
It is always a good idea to keep any treasured hand-dyed textiles out of prolonged direct sunlight.
